Termatalia, one of the most important international fairs and the most strategic context for the presentation of products related to Thermal tourism, Spa and Thalassotherapy, will have its third edition in Latin America in the exclusive setting of Foz do Iguazu, Brazil between 19 and 21 September 2018. The fair will present the reality of the sector, its different values and offers as well as its therapeutic and leisure possibilities, always with water as common thread.
According to what is the motto of this edition, “The energy of the waters” will mean new business opportunities for companies in the participating countries. The choice of Brazil as headquarters is led by the Iguazu Fund for Tourism Development and Promotion and the Foz do Iguazu Prefeitura and has the support of the main public and private entities linked to tourism in Brazil and Latin America, with the objective of positioning itself international level as a thermal destination.
During the last editions, Termatalia has gathered water brands that seek to promote themselves in the international market, putting their properties to value. This fair that “creates a culture of water” is a showcase for these brands which can get international contacts attracting potential customers from around the world.
Regarding Peru, our country hosted the fair in 2012. Since 2014, the director of Tucano Peru and Peru Wellness Travel, Veronica Napurí, has been elected delegate of the Fair in Peru. Termatalia is of great interest for Peru because our country is the holder of 228 water sources that have been studied by the Metallurgical Mining Geological Institute and have the potential to be used and valued for tourism.
Likewise, during the last edition of Termatalia 2017, Peru was rewarded for betting on thermal tourism, health and well-being, with the aim of developing the endogenous resource and creating new tourist destinations.
In this context, Tucano Peru is launching in 2018, an exclusive collection called Peru Wellness Travel, created with the aim of designing trips to offer its clients more harmonious life experiences with the purpose of producing changes from the inside of each person and So reorient your path and rejuvenate it. According to the words of Veronica Napurí: “Peru Wellness Travel will be focused on making almost a pilgrimage in search of escapes to heal the body and spirit”
